Anna Brosius
Director, Arithmetic, Logic, Writing, and Rhetoric Teacher
Anna was homeschooled through twelfth grade on the prairie of South Dakota. She graduated from Baylor University in 2001 with a degree in International Studies. Anna has continued the family homeschooling tradition with her four children who, as of 2024, range in age from 8 to 17. Her focus has been on Charlotte Mason and Christian Classical homeschool curriculum and pedagogy. Her interests in these educational philosophies led her to complete a Master Teacher Certificate in Classical Education in 2021.
Carrie Mullen
Assistant Director & Head of Kindergarten and Literacy
Carrie has been an elementary teacher for 12 years. Her most recent experience is at VCA where she has tutored literacy and taught middle school math. She now focuses on teaching her two daughters (4th & 1st Grade)
Jacklyn Groen
Community Relations, Health & Nutrition Teacher, Music Leader
Jacklyn and her husband Kyle enjoy hiking, playing disc golf, paddle boarding, skiing, and snowshoeing together. They love connecting with people and serving their church in various capacities. Jacklyn loves singing with the children at church as well as singing with residents at the senior center. Creative cooking is one of Jacklyn's specialties. She enjoys sharing her passion for healthy living with friends, family , and her students.
